Start your child's educational journey with the Bremerton School District here!

Families can enroll their child by completing online registration or submitting a registration packet at their neighborhood school or the District office.

Before starting the registration process, have these documents ready:

Proof of name, such as a birth certificate, military ID, passport, state-issued ID, or adoption decree.
Address verification that proves residency within Bremerton School District, such as home utility bills (gas, electricity, phone, water), lease agreements, or military base housing assignments.
Immunization records from a hospital or clinic, records printed from a state immunization database, or a Certificate of Immunization Status form. Washington State requires proof of up-to-date immunizations for all enrolled students.
Additional documents, such as an IEP or 504 plan, grades from a previous school, or an open enrollment application may be uploaded if applicable.

Open Enrollment

Bremerton School District allows elementary students to attend a school outside of their attendance area with approval from both the Principal of the preferred school and the District Superintendent. Placement is subject to space availability.

Parents must complete an Open Enrollment application and submit it to the school each year.

Choice Transfer

Bremerton School District welcomes students from outside district boundaries, based on available space. Families are responsible for transportation for out-of-district students.

A Choice Transfer request from the student's resident district must be submitted and approved, before a student can be registered for classes.

How to Register

- Use your Skyward Family Access account.
- New to the district? Request a Skyward account here. You will then receive an email with your account information.
- No computer access? Stop by the District Office and use one of our computers - and get your questions answered on-the-spot!
1. Download and print the registration packet:
  - 1st-12th Grade Registration Packet
  - Kindergarten Registration Packet
  - Paquete de Registro de Grados 1-12
  - Paquete de Registro de Kindergarten
  - You may also contact District Student Services to have the packet mailed to you, or pick one up at any of our schools or the district office.
  - Remember to include a copy of your child’s proof of name, address verification, and immunization records with your registration packet. All other required forms are included in the packet.
2. Submit your completed packet:
  - Drop off at your child’s school
  - Drop off at the District Office (134 Marion Ave N. Bremerton, WA 98312).
  - Mail to Michael Alford, District Student Services (at the district office)
  - Email a copy to michael.alford@bremertonschools.org
